North Carolina Central University celebrated its homecoming game with a 38-24 victory over Norfolk State University at O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium. Senior quarterback Davius Richard set a new record as the all-time touchdown leader for NCCU with 39 touchdowns, surpassing the previous mark held by wide receiver Robert Clark (1983-86). The win extended NCCU's home game win streak to 10, and the team now boasts an impressive 8-1 overall record, including a flawless 3-0 record in the MEAC conference.
